CV-125 Dual Plate Check Valve
Size Range: 1.5"–48" (DN40–DN1200)Anderson Greenwood Fasani bolted bonnet check valves provide non-return protection in demanding process and pipeline service. Valvenok lists them from NPS 2 to 6 and above (DN 50 to 150 and above), in carbon and alloy steel bodies, with pressure classes from ASME CL150 up to CL2500 and temperature capability up to 400°F (204°C) and beyond, depending on configuration.
A check valve opens automatically under forward flow and closes when flow stops or reverses, protecting pumps, compressors and equipment from backflow. In a bolted bonnet design the cover is fastened to the body with studs and a gasket, so the internals can be reached for inspection and seat or disc maintenance without cutting the valve out of the line. This makes the style well suited to plants with planned maintenance shutdowns.
To select the right valve, start with the design pressure and temperature to fix the ASME class and body material, then confirm the end connections, the orientation of the pipe run, and the minimum flow rate. Check valves need enough flow to hold the disc fully open; an oversized valve can chatter and wear prematurely. Alloy steel bodies are typically considered for higher-temperature duties.
