Pin-Free Design

Pin-free connection between disc and shaft below 24" — reduces probability of leakage from seawater corrosion and allows quick maintenance without special tools.

Bi-Directional Bubble Tight

Bi-directional bubble tight shutoff to 16 bar (230 psi) across DN50–DN600 (2"–24").

JIS 10K Flange Standard

Valve body designed to JIS 10K with flat face or raised face options — fully compatible with Japanese Industrial Standard shipbuilding piping systems.

Splined Shaft Strength

Shaft strength increased by splined shaft without drilling on the shaft for taper pin — superior to conventional taper pin designs in marine corrosive service.

Multiple Seat Materials

NBR (-10°C to +90°C), EPDM (-20°C to +120°C), Neoprene (0°C to +80°C), Silicon (-20°C to +180°C) and FKM (-18°C to +204°C) for all shipboard media.

ISO 5211 Actuator Mounting

Mounting top designed to ISO 5211 for direct actuator mounting — compatible with hydraulic, pneumatic, electric and manual actuator configurations.

Hydraulic Actuator Option

Manual hydraulic pump actuator available — stable output pressure, less operating torque than traditional worm gearbox, no electric power required.

Alloy Steel Options

Aluminium, copper alloy, duplex stainless steel body and disc available on request for specialist naval and offshore applications.

High Test Pressures

Closure test to 18 bar and shell test to 24 bar per ISO 5208 — meeting the most demanding shipbuilding pressure test requirements.

Large Bore Available

Sizes 26"–48" (650mm–1200mm) available — refer to VF-737 flanged type for large bore shipbuilding butterfly valve requirements.
